Our GLP‑1–friendly recipes combine Meatless® textured ingredients with faba bean protein and Orafti® fibres to boost protein and fibre content while maintaining a pleasant mouthfeel. Thanks to our flakes, burgers retain their juiciness and flavour during cooking, delivering a satisfying taste and texture that helps reduce the taste fatigue many GLP‑1 users report.
This enables developers to create nutrient‑dense hybrid burgers with higher protein for muscle support, added fibre for longer satiety, and fewer calories without compromising on taste or juiciness.
Sensoric evaluation of hybrid burgers versus 100% meat

Replacing 15% (lean) meat with texturized rice flakes improves juiciness, texture and firmness compared to 100% lean meat. While replacing 40%* (lean) meat with texturized faba flakes also improves firmness and texture versus 100% lean meat. (*requires egg-white for binding)
